I've been a fan of Doctor Who as long as I can remember. I was born in 1967 and I have VERY clear recollection of watching Jon Pertwee, while most people my age remember Tom Baker as the earliest Doctor they watched.
I was very concerned after 'that' film. It was an awful script and wasn't very well directed in my opinion. I thought they'd killed Dr Who as a viable program.
I was therefore doubly concerned when it did at last come back. But I'm delighted to say that though the new series is different to the old version it is close enough to be in keeping.
