An indoctrination serum hypodermic (PROSE: Dalek Combat Training Manual) was a possession of Davros contained within his chair.

During the Duplicate Incident, in which Davros was freed from suspended animation aboard a Prison Station, he used the device to condition Kiston to serve him, using the device on Davros's behalf. Having been sent by the Supreme Dalek, the Delta and Epsilon Dalek released their docking clamps, ostensibly so that Kiston could extract samples of Dalek mutant tissue for Davros' research into the Movellan virus, only to become the first of the Daleks conditioned to obey Davros. (TV: Resurrection of the Daleks)
