War Eagle was an Apache chief.

When the TARDIS landed in Paris, New Mexico instead of Paris, France, the Third Doctor neglected to close the door when he and Sarah Jane went outside. This allowed War Eagle to enter the TARDIS. The Doctor and Sarah returned, then took War Eagle to their original destination. War Eagle was understandably upset, but after meeting his old friend Buffalo Bill Cody, he calmed down. Cody convinced War Eagle to join his Wild West exhibition which was touring Europe. (COMIC: Perils of Paris)
