Todd Calavero was an element of Goralschai's Quincunx. After his half-brother Primo de la Vega was illegally loomed at House Meddhoran from Acamapichtli's biodata and usurped his place in history, he was thrust into an oxbow existence. In contrast to Primo's aura of life, Todd was a living totem of death and entropy, leading Goralschai to place the chapterhouse of House Meddhoran inside him so that he would continue to survive until present at the New Fire Ceremony for Goralschai's plan to take effect.
While he was going about his life, trying to figure out things with his wife Selena, he came to realise that nobody else in his life could remember him, and gradually he had faded out of the world.
