Ko Sharmus' explosives were large hand-held explosives owned by Ko Sharmus that were capable of destroying a Cybercarrier with strategic placement.
History
Ko Sharmus kept these explosives in his weaponstore on the Planet of the Boundary, although he did not utilize them against the execution units dispatched by Ashad.
Later, the humans brought the explosives with them to Gallifrey, intending to use the bombs to destroy Ashad's salvaged Cybercarrier which was parked above the Citadel and thus ripe for blowing up by strategically planting the bombs around the carrier. However, the Thirteenth Doctor knew that they wouldn't stop the CyberMasters and came up with a plan to use the death particle on them instead. On the Doctor's instructions, Ko Sharmus, Yedlarmi, Ethan and Ravio planted the explosives around the ship, including one on the activator core which would cause chain reactions across the carrier when it went off. After Ko Sharmus planted a final explosive, the main trigger device unexpectedly activated, causing the bombs to start counting down to detonation. After leading the others to a TARDIS, the Doctor asked Ko Sharmus if he had any more explosives. However, while Ko Sharmus had one, it was only for emergency uses and required a hand detonation. After sending the others back to Earth in the TARDIS, the Doctor attached Ashad's shrunken body to the bottom of the explosive and confronted the Spy Master, threatening to detonate it and the death particle. After the Doctor hesitated, Ko Sharmus arrived and took the explosive for himself which allowed the Doctor to escape in another TARDIS. Although the CyberMasters killed him, Ko Sharmus managed to detonate the explosive and the death particle in his last moments, wiping out all organic life on Gallifrey. (TV: The Timeless Children)
