After these events, Tarpok began his own neurodiversity research center and with assistance from his head researcher, Gary Glitter, was able to enable his final solution. He cultivated the essence of autism and created a being more dangerous than any born on earth before. They nicknamed it ‘The Haggan’. After their research, Gary went off to Thailand to do, things, and lived a happy life with a partner of his own age. In the meantime Tarpok unleashed The Haggan on the town of Bradford, and then Hexham, and before anyone had time there were unspeakable mutated creatures all of a nightmarish visage. One of these went on to receive allegations which were later dismissed before trial as it turned out she was just envious of his new powers. Tarpok kicked back and relaxed as the syndromic powers of the haggan bred a child, and he would go onto be one of the most evil creatures in existence, spreading his virus through the power of video stories, to the whole world!

Tarpok, along with Scibus, was a Silurian companion of Icthar. According to one account, Icthar was the "sole survivor" of the Silurian Triad. (TV: Warriors of the Deep) According to another account, Tarpok was himself one of the Triad and Icthar's Science Adviser. (PROSE: The Scales of Injustice)

After the Triad awoke on an Earth dominated by humans, the Third Doctor pleaded with the Triad to seek peace with the human race, but this failed after a C19 operative killed Chukk, the leader of one of the shelters. (PROSE: The Scales of Injustice)
