Based at the Sony Pictures Studios complex in Culver City, it is a division of Sony Entertainment's unit Sony Pictures Entertainment and a subsidiary of the Japanese conglomerate Sony Group Corporation.
In 2021, they bought the company Bad Wolf Productions[1][2], who would go on to become co-producers of Doctor Who in 2022.
