Mary Sangster was the fictitious mother of Alice Carter, created on 14 February 1977 at the request of Alice's real mother, Lucia Moretti, in order to distance herself from her father, Captain Jack Harkness. "Mary Sangster" had her birthdate recorded as 9 March 1943. (TV: Children of Earth: Day Three)
