The Shakespeare Code is an episode of Doctor Who. It will be broadcast in Spring 2007. The story will feature the wrath of three witches, with William Shakespeare having to save the day by giving the "performance of his life". It is rumoured that hidden in his plays, there is a code that the Doctor must work out in order to save humanity.

- Scenes for this episode were filmed in Coventry, Warwick and at the recreated Globe Theatre in London.
- The title appears to be a play on The Da Vinci Code, which is also a story based around a well-known figure of the Renaissance.
- This will be the second appearance of a famous writer in the newer series (the first being Charles Dickens in the episode The Unquiet Dead)
