Bernard helped the Epoch remove people in time who were interfering with the Epoch's plan with Benny, (AUDIO: In Living Memory) starting with Jack and Ruth after their encounter with the Epoch on Saravas, (AUDIO: Big Dig) then Peter Summerfield after Moros Prime and Irving Braxiatel after their escape from Legion. He wiped their memories and reprogrammed them to think they were actors playing characters. He tried this with Benny as well. His plan failed when another Benny appeared, destroying the Epoch base.
