"Treeborgs" were partially organic, partially robotic trees kept aboard the Byzantium. The trees were fed on starlight and gave out oxygen, which was harvested and sprayed throughout the ship. They were most likely destroyed when the the crack in the ship activated. (DW: Flesh and Stone)
