Anti-Dalek Weapons was one of the features original to The Dalek World, a Dalek annual of 1965, which were not so much a story as an informative feature on Dalek society. Although mostly non-narrative (and, as such, not currently considered a valid source by this Wiki), it featured a wealth of new information about weapons designed by the Venusians for use against the Daleks, and the subsequent theft thereof by human agents.

Summary

Unispace agent EM2 has stolen a set of diagrams (enclosed) of weapons effective against the Daleks: the silica destructor and the metal fatigue inducer.

• "EM2" is a Unispace agent.
• The metal fatigue inducer work by firing penetron rays which randomise the molecular structure of Dalekanium, thus weakening the casing of the Dalek target.
• The silica destructor is designed to irreparably impair a Dalek eyestalk by projecting a blast of molten glass which, upon touching another surface of glass (the lens of the eyepiece), instantly cools down and renders said surface opaque.
• The weapons were sponsored and manufactured by the Venusian Ministry of Defence.
