• January - Walking to Babylon, a dramatised audio adaptation of the 1998 novel of the same title, was released by Big Finish Productions.
• 4 January - The Face-Eater and Salvation were first published by BBC Books.
• 14 January - DWM 274 was published.

February

• February - Birthright, a dramatised audio adaptation of the 1993 novel of the same title, was released by Big Finish Productions.
• 1 February - The Taint was first published.
• 1 February - The Mary-Sue Extrusion was first published.
• 1 February - The Wages of Sin was first published.
• 11 February - DWM 275 was published.

March

• 1 March - Demontage was first published.
• 1 March - Deep Blue was first published.
• 1 March - Dead Romance was first published.
• 1 March - More Short Trips anthology was first published.

• November - Whispers of Terror, a Doctor Who story by Big Finish was released on cassette and CD.
• November - REF: A Critical History of Doctor Who on Television was first published.
• 1 November - Corpse Marker was first published.
• 1 November - The Five Doctors was released in the digital format in the UK.
• 13 November - BBC2 broadcast Doctor Who Night, an evening of episodes, documentaries and comedy sketches. Introduction to the Night was also broadcast as part of the night, interlinking separate parts of it.
• 15 November - Planet of the Daleks and Revelation of the Daleks were released together in a VHS tin set.
• 18 November - DWM 285 was published.
