The Aten was a god in Egyptian mythology who was the Lord of the Sun (PROSE: Wardenclyffe) and the "Sun's disc itself". (PROSE: A Hundred Words from a Civil War) The Aten became Atum at sundown. (PROSE: Wardenclyffe)
The Pharaoh Akhenaten was born as "Amenhotep" in honour of Amun but he created a new religion that worshiped the Aten, who was the disc of the sun. Net, Isis, Khepri, Khnum, Set, and Re were among the gods replaced with the Aten. (PROSE: Set Piece)
In the City of the Saved, Akhenaten worshiped a Remake of Aten, who appeared as a silhouette that cast blinding light from "his-her face". (PROSE: A Hundred Words from a Civil War)
