The Tenth Doctor once went to a Barry Manilow concert at Madison Square Garden, 1990. He later remembered it as a "great gig" when he produced a candle from his pocket which he had obtained from the event. It led him to sing the opening bars of "Mandy". (PROSE: Forever Autumn)
Behind the scenes
In the Red Dwarf special, the Daleks exclaimed that they did not write "Mandy" by Barry Manilow.
