Professor Dale was a leading member of the Peace Party who had been imprisoned at the Lunar Penal Colony for protesting the war between Earth and the Draconians.
Biography
Dale had been a faculty advisor to Patel when the latter was on the Youth Committee of the Peace Party.
In 2540, he and the Third Doctor were almost killed by Cross when they attempted to escape. (TV: Frontier in Space)
The Doctor would later ask the President of Earth that Dale and his associates be freed, a request she agreed to. (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Space War)
