Zanthus Pia was the head of the Galactic Peace Commission. He was murdered by Ahab, Ahab then travelled to the year 2050 where K-9 who witnessed the murder resided. Due to his damaged memory Ahab was able to frame him for the murder and K-9 himself believed it and surrendered himself.
