Phyllis Logan (born 11 January 1956[1]) played Andinio in the Doctor Who television story The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos.
Career
She is perhaps best remembered as Lady Jane Felsham in the comedy-drama series Lovejoy (1986, 1991-94), as well as Squadron Leader Helen Knox in the science-fiction drama Invasion: Earth (1998). She is also well known for her role as Head Housekeeper Mrs. Elsie Carson (nee Hughes) on the ITV drama Downton Abbey (2010-2015), as well as the first Downton Abbey film (2019) and the sequel Downton Abbey: A New Era (2022)

She is married to fellow Doctor Who guest actor Kevin McNally.
