The Pink Cichorium was a near extinct beautiful pink plant. The last of its kind in the entire universe was loved, protected and tendered daily by Irene a botanist who lived alone on the mini-moon of Delphi. When the security of the plant was threatened by the arrival of man-eating weeds, Irene had sent a distress call. The call was answered by the Doctor who resettled the plant in the fields of Centauri-Beta.
