In a parallel universe visited by the Third Doctor, Adolf Hitler was the leader of Nazi Germany during the 20th century.

Hitler was assassinated during a military coup in 1938. (PROSE: I, Alastair) The political vacuum after his death left Europe to be divided between the Leader and Joseph Stalin. (PROSE: The Face of the Enemy)

By the 1950s, Nazi Germany was a pawn of Great Britain, even having to allow the stationing of British troops and research facilities with a particularly large base existing near Dresden. (PROSE: The Schizoid Earth)

Hitler's interest in occultism was later scrutinised in the BBC3 documentary series Occult Secrets of the Nazis. (PROSE: Still Lives)
