The Aquillians, also spelled "Aquilian", (PROSE: The Golden Door) were a sentient species that resembled seven-foot eagles in golden armour. They worshipped the Elder God To'Koth and could track an individual by their psychic spore and telepathically communicate with them. (AUDIO: Signs and Wonders)
Both the First Doctor and Yerma of Bukol had an appreciation for fifth dynasty Aquilian architecture. (PROSE: The Golden Door)
History
In the 21st century, the Aquillians were organised into the Third Holy Aquillian Empire, ruled by the Empress Praska, daughter of Veska the Magnificent. They were aware of the Time Lords. (AUDIO: Signs and Wonders)
