The seventh issue of The Daredevils was cover dated July 1983. It was the third and final issue of The Daredevils to reprint a DWM comic story - in this case, Black Sun Rising.
Black Sun Rising served as background context to the readers of the magazine regarding the origins of the Special Executive who were concurrently being featured in the flagship narrative of the publication. Rough Justice saw the Executive appear again, continuing the arc from the previous two issues. The Special Executive went on to appear in each one of the succeeding Captain Britain strips featured in The Daredevils until the cessation of the publication at issue 11 in December 1983.
