Nasreen Chaudhry Nasreen Chaudry was a Geologist from the year 2020 who along with Tony Mack was digging down into the Earth further than any other human had before. The digging began after Nasreen and Tony had noticed the appearance of a mineral in the local Cwmtaff area that hadn't been seen on Earth for many years. The digging continued until the Doctor arrived, and realised that something else was digging up to the surface. This turned out to be the Silurian race. Eventually, Nasreen accompanies the Doctor in the TARDIS after the Silurians stopped digging. They soon arrived deep below the Earth's crust to then discover the empire of the Silurians, where many, possibly millions of them were waiting. (DW: The Hungry Earth)
