:As a final administrative note, please take heed of the fact that subpages, though generally uncategorised, should at the very least be kept in "Game of Rassilon" legacy cats: for example, Sarah Jane Smith/Biography should be placed in the hidden category [[:Category:Companions of the Doctor]] so that people who edit it (which is functionally like editing [[Sarah Jane Smith]]) still get their rightful GoR XP. I'm not a GoR expert, dunno if the LoAesque approach vs the non-DWU approach matters, but the latter seems inaccurate to me. :: My take on the matter is that when these invalid sources are covered in a <tt><nowiki>== Information from invalid sources ==</nowiki></tt> subsection, the page in which the subsection is located isn't placed in the "non-DWU" categories (which also really need to be renamed given this Wiki hasn't used the "non-DWU" terminology in ''years''); so the subpage, being a functional extension of the subsection on the main page shouldn't be placed in the "non-DWU" categories. | |||
::: After all, these subpages aren't covering invalid versions of the characters substantially different from their "valid" counterparts, similar to something like [[Romana (Battle for the Universe)]]/[[Romana]]; these subpages cover invalid appearances of valid characters. Y'know? And as we can cite valid sources on these pages in places, lumping the whole subpage in the invalid categories means we are putting valid sources there too. {{User:Epsilon the Eternal/signature}} 22:12, 9 June 2023 (UTC) |

Categories?
Should this be in Category:Non-DWU individuals, Category:Non-DWU Doctors etc, or should these subpages have their own category? Aquanafrahudy π’ 16:49, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
- Interesting question, I don't think we ever addressed if categories should be placed on our new subpages. LoA pages have categories, so there's some precedent there, but I don't think that this subpage really works with prior categories. Probably invent new ones? Najawin β 16:59, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
- Okay, great. Aquanafrahudy π’ 17:07, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
- Buuuuuuuuut it's a big deal and we didn't discuss it before so let's have some discussion with other people. Just my 2 cents. Najawin β 17:14, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
- Also, Sutekh/Non-valid sources is in Non-DWU Individuals, so that could be precedent? Aquanafrahudy π’ 17:24, 9 June 2023 (UTC)

Seems to be something OS25 did based on this line from Scrooge's closing post at Forum:Temporary forums/Subpages 2.0:
- As a final administrative note, please take heed of the fact that subpages, though generally uncategorised, should at the very least be kept in "Game of Rassilon" legacy cats: for example, Sarah Jane Smith/Biography should be placed in the hidden category Category:Companions of the Doctor so that people who edit it (which is functionally like editing Sarah Jane Smith) still get their rightful GoR XP. If there are any further subtleties I'm missing, with regards to Categories or anything else β well, that'll be material for Part Three
