Old Denslow Farm likely gets its name from W. W. Denslow. Denslow illustrated The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, in which a Kansas farm girl is swept away to the magical Land of Oz, where she learns she can't return home until she has destroyed the Wicked Witch of the West.
