History
After John Lumic managed to get the BBC dissolved, it became the only world news network active on Earth. (PROSE: Lumic)
The Cybus Network published the Daily Download. IE24 News also broadcast through the Cybus Network. While mostly being used by the EarPods, the Cybus Network also worked on other devices, including those not manufactured by Cybus Industries, as was the case for Rose Tyler's mobile phone. (TV: Rise of the Cybermen)
The Cybus Network offered a free trial period, and operated as the default network for internet in Pete's World. Rose Tyler used it to search for information on the Pete's World version of her father. (TV: Rise of the Cybermen)
