A laundrette was located in Shoreditch close to 76 Totter's Lane. It was open Monday through to Sunday from 7am to 7pm, with last washes at 6pm. It contained FastKing appliances, including 6 washing machines and 6 dryers. The manager of the laundrette formerly worked at Coal Hill School, having left in 2014.

A notice board at the laundrette advertised Coal Hill School Summer Fair, Code For Everyone, East Forest Matters, The Infinite Orange, Shoreditch Bridge Club, Sunday Record Fair, Suzanne's Coffee Afternoons and West Bridge Community Farm. A flyer on the board also stated that a cat, with a collar name of Monty, had been found on Coal Hill Road.

Magazines available to read included ThatCat Monthly and Global Informative. (GAME: The Edge of Reality [+]Loading...["The Edge of Reality (video game)"])
