Sign your posts! ^ Any way, this is completely irrelivant, and, as the Doctor would say, forced connections and seeing patterns that mean nothing. In the past, the Autons pretended to be shop dummies, Cassandra pretend to be good and later pretended to be Rose and later the Tenth Doctor, the Gelth pretended to be ghosts of the past, the Slitheen pretended to be humans, Sukie (from The Long Game) pretended to be a worker, a Slitheen pretned to be the mayor of Cardiff... then in seires 2, a werewolf pretended to be human, those bat things pretened to be huma teachers, the Cybermen pretended to be ghosts... oh, and the Master pretended to be a good professor, then he pretended to be the prime minister, those witch things pretended to be human, the Weeping Angels from Blink pretneded to be normal statues, the Beast pretended it was human by posseesing a human, Midnight pretended to be Sky, and there are loads more from past series. It's nothing new, just you seeing patterns that aren't there, to be honest. There is pretending every single series. Delton Menace 21:29, May 28, 2010 (UTC)
although he does have a slight point though i wouldnt say pretending more disguising as drills are not a living thing therefore cannot pretend
but it could have some relevance in that the big bad could well be disguised
i read somewhere that matt smith told an interviewer that the big bad was in the first episode
and my guess is that it isnt prisoner zero
would kinda suck if it was since weve already seen it
but it wouldve been seen which brings me to a theory
that it is possibly rory (its more of a hope to be honest i find his character to be rather dull and boring so to make him the big bad of the season would be interesting)
especailly as he has travelled with the doctor and the doctor not realising
could also give a possible explanation to why his ID badge says 1990 on there Vampyreaurora
Dude, the freaking ID badge is a production era. Goord lord. Why are you all clutching at straws this series? Forced connections? Humans, always seeing patterns. I have seen some deep spoilers and rumours based on spoiley-spoilers of spoilers, and Rory is NOT the 'big bad'. He is expected to, get this, die and then have his body sucked into the crack. Bam, another victim of the crack. But spoilers say there is one prisoner in the Pandorica, located benath Stonehenge, there may lay your big bad. Delton Menace 21:53, May 28, 2010 (UTC)
I'd really appreciate it if u'd speak nicely to me
and if u notice on the first episode the ID badge has too much screen time showing the date to be just a simple production error
they would of spotted it and surely changed the badge
and if you'd of noticed i said 'it's more of a hope' because his character is boring and it would be funny if that would happen
you expect people to be nice about whatever theories or just comments you make
so be nice back to people as well thankyou [[User:Vampyreaurora|Vampyreaurora 22:06, May 28, 2010 (UTC)]]
- Delton, the same spoiler sources that tell us Rory is going to be shot and then fall into a crack also tell us that he's going to be in episode 13, dressed as a Roman auxiliary in Roman Britain at Stonehenge. Presumably he falls into one of the cracks that leads somewhere else rather than one of the cracks that leads to nothingness.
- Also, as for the ID badge, the Moff has, multiple times, talked about how lying to the fans to increase suspense is a good tactic. So, it's not impossible that he's lying about the badge.
- However, I do agree that it's unlikely Rory will be the big bad, and that these connections are a pretty big stretch, and it's even more of a stretch to connect them to Rory. And personally, I love Rory's character--he was like "Mickey done properly" at first, but he's become more interesting the more he appears--he's one of the most relatable characters in the history of the show, and Arthur Darvill is a genuinely funny actor. --Falcotron 01:51, May 29, 2010 (UTC)
- You only see the ID badge date if you screencap and actually exaimine the detail of it. If you're watching, you can't even get a tiny glimpse of it. No one but a few people noticed, and then *they)showed others, causing people to start saying silly things and clutch at straws. It's just a production date, not all of the production would be aware it was set in 2008. I guess the fact that The Waters of Mars say the Dalek invasion was in 2008 must mean something, too? No.
But that is a whole other story. - I'm shakey about the whole Roman Rory thing, but the death and or/crack thing keeps getting mentioned from all filming, spoiler-ers (very reliable ones, I might add), hinted at in The Hungry Earth (how they mention he/they survive, but that can be changed), and reviews heavily imply it, too. And indeed, they mention the crack playing a major role.
- But this series, there is endless forced connections, invisable patterns, I'm not seeing half of it. I heard things as ridiculous as Amelia being the Pandorica, pulled out of thin air. Theories should be based on something, not just pulled out of thin air like half of them this series. This whole pretending-to-be-things thing, as I said, happens every single year - more than once each series, every series. Delton Menace 04:34, May 29, 2010 (UTC)
