Stalinist was a term used to refer to the supporters of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin. They were communist and associated with the ruling party, the Soviet Communist Party, during Stalin's rule.

Hilde Schultz considered Stalinists to be an "unforgiving lot", referring to the fate of Leon Trotsky, (PROSE: Spiral Scratch) a former associate of Stalin who was killed by an ice pick to the head after falling out of favour. (AUDIO: Last of the Romanovs, PROSE: Sometime Never...)
