Ambrose Northover (née Mack) was a woman who lived in the village of Cwmtaff‎. She provided the Meals on Wheels service for the valley in which Cwmstaff was situated. Her son, Elliot, and her husband Mo were taken by the Silurians to experiment on. Her father was Tony Mack, one of the two main executives on the Cwmtaff drilling project. (DW: The Hungry Earth) With nothing left to lose, she became, as the Doctor described, the "worst of humanity." With losing two of her family members and the impending death of her father, she unintentionally killed Alaya, provoked the Silurians when they demanded Alaya, and even attempted to destroy their home with the drill to get her family back (DW: Cold Blood).
