Pheasant

Pheasants were a species of bird native to the planet Earth.

The First Doctor and Vicki Pallister ate it while at a banquet in 1605. (PROSE: The Plotters)

Pheasant was one of the meals served to Dr Humphrey Cook and Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart when they visited the Newton Institute. Cook later asked Charles Percival how the institute could afford pheasant. (TV: The Time Monster)
