"squidbaby23" was the username of a reader of Mickey Smith's conspiracy website Who is Doctor Who? by 2006. Mickey also referred to squidbaby23 as "squiddy".

squidbaby23 was seemingly present (PROSE: Alien landing confirmed) in Albion Hospital when the Slitheen family's genetically modified pig broke free of Dr Sato and began trying to evade capture by the army; (TV: Aliens of London) it was at this point squidbaby23 managed to take a picture of the alien creature, (PROSE: Alien landing confirmed) before it was killed by a soldier shortly after. Although similar in nature to the user-created characters in Alien landing confirmed, squidbaby23 was included in the main text of the story and therefore was created by the BBC webteam. squidbaby23 is also one of the most prominent characters created by the webteam, having appeared in multiple sources.
