Private Carl Harris (PROSE: The Time Travellers' Almanac) had his life changed for the worse on 25 June 2007, when Donna Noble turned right instead of left; this small change in affairs produced Donna's World.
Harris was a UNIT soldier on scene when the Tenth Doctor's body was recovered the River Thames on 25 December 2007. He informed Trap One that the Doctor had managed to stop the creature, which he referred to as "some sort of red spider". He then stated that they had found a body, presuming that it "must have happened too fast for him to regenerate". (TV: Turn Left)
Behind the scenes
- His first name, Carl, was given in The Time Traveller's Almanac.
- Harris is credited only as "UNIT Soldier" in Turn Left. He is identifiable as both his appearance (he is played by actor Clive Standen) and UNIT call sign (Greyhound Fifteen) match those of Private Harris in The Sontaran Stratagem.
