Combat boots

Combat boots were boots designed to be worn by soldiers.

The War Doctor wore ebony black combat boots, (COMIC: The Clockwise War, The Whole Thing's Bananas, Four Doctors; PROSE: Engines of War; TV: The Name of the Doctor) right up to his death after the Fall of Gallifrey. (TV: The Day of the Doctor)

Galloway mistakes footsteps for noises made by a rodent, to which Quartermaster Sergeant Stien sceptically points out the fact they were made by combat boots. (TV: Resurrection of the Daleks)
