History

20th century

In 1961, the Brookings Report was approved, telling NASA how it could conduct its business. (AUDIO: Red Dawn)

In 1969, NASA launched the shuttle signal that the Eleventh Doctor used to hypnotise everyone on Earth to kill the Silence on sight. (TV: Day of the Moon)

In the 1970s, NASA sent messages into space containing a map of the solar system, pictures of what humans looked like along with images, voices and music including Chuck Berry. These messages were noticed by extra-terrestrial species, resulting in the Pulse being sent to Earth. (TV: A Day in the Death)

Dr. Tyler stated that, even though he was not NASA, he still got the results. (TV: The Three Doctors)

In 2010, Sarah Jane Smith sabotaged a NASA rover on Mars to prevent it from discovering a pyramid. (TV: The Vault of Secrets)

At some point before 2011, NASA astronaut Millicent Drake's shuttle was destroyed by what appeared to be a meteor (in fact a disguised segment of the Key to Time) controlled by the Cronquist, leaving her the only survivor. (AUDIO: Ferril's Folly)

In 2020, NASA detected the Transit Station on their scanners in orbit around the moon, not seeing it approach. By 7:10 the next morning, they were preparing a mission to intercept it. BBC News reported their actions. (PROSE: At Childhood's End)
