Gentry was a farmer who, after falling upon hard times, was made to work at the Loomhouse at eighty years old. He befriended the Eighth Doctor, who took Arla Decanto to meet him one night. After Arla told the guards of the secret passage between the Citadel of Peladon and the Loomhouse, Gentry resisted arrest and was killed, further provoking rebellion. (AUDIO: The Truth of Peladon)
