Idwal Morgan was the professor of megalithic archaeology at Bangor.

Amelia Rumford thought lowly of him, considering him to be a "fool", and later enthusiastically accepting the Fourth Doctor's suggestion to write a monograph about the Nine Travellers in order to make Idwal "look a fool". (TV: The Stones of Blood [+]Loading...["The Stones of Blood (TV story)"])
