The Ultimate Cybermen was the fourth and last instalment of The ArcHive Tapes anthology, narrated and produced by David Banks.
Following references in the previous instalments, this concluding part focused on the "CyberNeomorphs", the Cybermen who featured in the classic Doctor Who serials of the 1980s. The variant which appeared in Silver Nemesis are dubbed "Isomorphs".

Continuity
- The documents cover the presence of CyberNeomorphs in the Death Zone on Gallifrey, (TV: The Five Doctors) their attempt to destroy Earth in 2526, (TV: Earthshock) their attempt to evacuate Telos and prevent the destruction of Mondas, (TV: Attack of the Cybermen) and the "Isomorphs" attempt to invade Earth in 1988. (TV: Silver Nemesis)
- The narrator acknowledges that the Seventh Doctor had recently fought the Daleks before his encounter with the "Isomorphs". (TV: Remembrance of the Daleks)
