Maxie Masters's mother on Gendar was fairly old when she had Maxie, and she and her partner had not intended to have any children, though they welcomed Maxiassa all the same. When Maxie was three, she taught her daughter to "always do her best", a maxim Maxie would continue to live by all her life. (AUDIO: Maxie)
