Pioneers of Flight was a feature in The Dr Who Annual 1969. It referred to Leonardo da Vinci, the Montgolfier brothers, the Wright brothers, Charles Lindburgh, Alcock, Brown, Frank Whittle, Charles Yeager, and Yuri Gagarin.
