You may be looking for the protagonist of The Prisoner.

The Number 6 was a double decker bus which operated in East London, stopping in Coal Hill, Fenn Street and Hob's End, among other places.

When the Fractures invaded London in 2014 the driver was temporally displaced, and his body was hijacked by a Fracture. This Fracture then hijacked the bodies of all passengers that subsequently boarded the bus, and drove them to Clara Oswald's apartment, where she was harbouring Paul Foster. When the Fractures attacked, Clara, Paul, his wife, and their youngest and eldest daughters fled to the bus, which Clara then drove. The Fractures chased the bus, and Clara and the family managed to escape into the TARDIS just before it crashed through the barriers of Tower Bridge and fell into the River Thames.
