Cyber-shuttles were shuttlecraft used by the Cybermen to travel between their Cyber-Fleets and the surface of planets.

Characteristics[[edit] | [edit source]]

In the mid-20th century, the Cybermen of Mondas made use of saucer-shaped Cyber-shuttles which were attached to Cyber-Warships. They were equipped with an escape craft. (COMIC: The Good Soldier)

Shuttles could carry ten Cybermen, (TV: Silver Nemesis) and were not designed for deep space travel. (AUDIO: Hour of the Cybermen)

Cyberfighters were a sub-class of the Cyber-shuttle, equipped with warp drives. (TV: Ascension of the Cybermen)

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

One Cyber-Fleet utilised a shuttle to retrieve Atriss and capture Lewis Price in the 1980s. (AUDIO: Hour of the Cybermen)

Another group of Cybermen used a shuttle near Windsor Castle in 1988 to locate the Nemesis statue, keeping two programmed humans on guard. Ace destroyed the ship with Nitro-9, and believing betrayal, the Cybermen executed the humans. (TV: Silver Nemesis)

In the immediate aftermath of the Cyber-Wars, Cyberfighters were used by the Cybermen to hunt down surviving humans. One Cyberfighter was used by the Lone Cyberman, while another was taken by the Thirteenth Doctor. (TV: Ascension of the Cybermen)
