I disagree with a rename of the page. Look at it this way: in Series 7 Jenna is credited as 'Jenna-Louise Coleman', while from Series 8 onwards she is credited only as 'Jenna Coleman'. I'd much rather have the page say something along the lines of "the crediting changed from this story onwards". --DCLM ☎ 23:18, January 1, 2020 (UTC) | I disagree with a rename of the page. --DCLM ☎ 23:18, January 1, 2020 (UTC)
- In the case of Coleman, we went with her most recent and most common credit, Jenna Coleman, and noted her original credit, Jenna-Louise Coleman, as an aside. After all, that decision was made for a reason (by Coleman herself or her agent(s), presumably).
- The situation here in a sense is reversed: Stone was first credited with his shorter-form name, and then began to use Jamie Magnus Stone. It might be the same sort of brand revamp, or it might be incidental, but precedent thus far seems to point towards renaming the page. We could wait until he has more credits, of course, so that we can say the new name has a majority, or to give us more time to make a decision anyway. (Aesthetically, "Jamie Stone" has greater appeal to me as a page name, and it's more concise in the infobox, but I don't think policy dictates that personal taste should drive us here, particularly not when dealing with real people, who'd presumably get the final say on their own names.)
