Mechon 17 was a Mechonoid stationed on the planet Hesperus, where the Mechanoids had been preparing for centuries for an eventual human colonisation. As part of this preparation, the Mechonoids defended the planet from a Dalek invasion. During the battle, Mechon 17 was destroyed when it was caught in the crossfire between two Daleks.
