Vacuum drones or fog drones were flying drones created by the Villengard Corporation. They were used on Kastarion 3 in 5087 to hoover up the smoke on its battlefields. The Fifteenth Doctor said this was "so nobody can choke to death before they are safely shot."
They allowed Ruby Sunday to see the planet's sky, upon which the Doctor realised this was her first time on a new planet. Canterbury James Olliphant saw the use of the fog drones as a signal that the Kastarions could be planning an attack. (TV: Boom [+]Loading...["Boom (TV story)"])
