A portrait of the late mother of the Duke of Pemberton was on display in the ballroom of the Pemberton manor in Bath, England, in 1813. The Duchess of Pemberton told Ruby Sunday who the portrait was of when she noticed it, stating that the painting's eyes tended to follow her around the room as if in judgement.
