Jean Conroy (29 September 1934[1]-14 November 1964[2]) played one of the women in the wood in the Doctor Who television story The Dalek Invasion of Earth.
Her tragic, untimely death in a street accident occurred before transmission of the serial. She is the first person associated with the programme to pass away.
