After receiving a letter from Bethany claiming that the Sycorax's heads looked like nut shells, and that her brother called them "nut heads", the Sycorax leader responded that this was "an outrage", noting that their bodies were adorned with the bones of their enemies. They went on to claim that, although they had defeated a race of Walnut Warriors, this was merely a coincidence.
