I have noticed that you moved the Face Tendril to page to Multi-Form when you shouldn't have. You don't move a page because you think it is the right name for it when the name of the species was already confirmed by the BBC Doctor Who website. Multi-Form was just a name it was refered to because it had that ability. -- [[User:Michael Downey|Michael Downey]] 20:44, June 19, 2010 (UTC).

Face tendril

Hey, I left my thoughts on the Face tendril page. Thanks for keeping me informed. --Tangerineduel 13:21, May 27, 2010 (UTC)

Next time, if there's a redirect, as there was, just ask an admin (such as me or Doug86) to move the page to it, rather than moving it to a similar article name. This just means we have to move the article again. The article has been moved to Multi-form (admins need to do this because it involves deleting the redirect prior to the move). (I left a comment rather than move the article as I was unsure if you wanted further discussion or whatever) Thanks. --Tangerineduel 13:29, May 27, 2010 (UTC)
I wasn't critising (or trying to discourage you), in fact most pages can be moved by anyone. It's only if what you're trying to move it to already exists (as a redirect or otherwise) an admin needs to duck in and delete the page so the page you're trying to move can go there. Thanks. --Tangerineduel 14:07, May 27, 2010 (UTC)

Time Field

My PC crashed a few months ago, I get it back up, the nature of this wiki has changed. First of all the page is in the wrong tense it should be the time field was not the time crack is. It is written in the wrong manual of style. I am going to change it to past tense not present tense. --Catkind121 13:15, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

  • Well I think you are wrong it should be in past tense this is about the doctor who universe and everything in it should be written in past tense. --Catkind121 13:29, May 31, 2010 (UTC)
No. The cracks are am in-universe article and therefore are in the past tense.
The term ongoing events is referring to articles like the Series 5 (Doctor Who) article which has the Template:Current event tag on it, or articles relating to ongoing concerns like Steven Moffat's page where he is currently the Executive Producer of the Doctor Who.
With regards to in-universe articles on-going is a purely subjective term because all in-universe articles are written with the perspective from the very end of the universe where all in-universe events are in the past.
The stories that make up the sources for the Time Field article are either broadcast or yet to be broadcast and as you shouldn't cite yet to be broadcast/published stories as they can't be verified. --Tangerineduel 13:48, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

Reply

I have no idea, sorry. You best bet is to ask an admin. Mini-mitch 22:10, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

Discontinuity pages

Forum:Discontinuity revisited is the forum page where the change in the discontinuity pages was discussed, I'd suggest adding to the discussion there. --Tangerineduel 07:07, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

Monster size comparisons

I deleted them because they didn't have a source listed on the image page. If they were out of universe they could still be used if they were placed within the Behind the Scenes section. The images would still need to be sourced (sources go on the image page as described in the copyright tag. Thanks. --Tangerineduel 16:35, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, as I said when I responded to your first question. They did sit with prop deletes on them for a fair few days. --Tangerineduel 17:19, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

Talk page archiving

Good question, we don't currently have any policy in place with regards to article talk page archiving. I'd suggest posting a topic in Forum:Panopticon to get other user's feedback on it.

In the case of the Time Field discussion (and in fact all article talk pages) the talk page should be used to discuss the editing of the article and how it's put together (or its name etc) rather than the theories and speculation that's crept in there. I've place the Template:Talk Page at the top (likely it will do nothing, but it serves to alert people and point towards The Howling). Thanks. --Tangerineduel 14:34, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

Protected articles.

Dear TTD.

A wiki is an encyclopedia in which people are aloud to edit. However, because people have been protecting articles, it is impossible to edit them. This takes the fun out of being a member of a wiki. Do something about it!

Tardis Pictures

Do you have a link I can use to compate the blasted tardis bit to both the tenth and eleventh Doctors TARDIS? Jack Chilli 12:38, June 10, 2010 (UTC)

There is one at the top of this page with the door open! What do you think a better match or not? Jack Chilli 12:52, June 10, 2010 (UTC)

What about this angle (From the BBC the TARDIS in the auton lair http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/gallery/tardis/1024/01.jpg) Clearer indentation? Jack Chilli 13:31, June 10, 2010 (UTC)

You wouldn't pull apart a props as importnat as the tradis to make a piece; it's in an exhibition or something. That leave two possiblities deliberate differences or a poorly made prop. You could go either way but one way is interesting to speculate about and the other is dull. Jack Chilli 13:43, June 10, 2010 (UTC)

Tabitha Pond

It's who Karen Westwood is cast as playing, according to http://doctorwhospoilers.ueuo.com/, which has a number of confirmed guests (such as Alex Kingston as River Song and a few others) and the characters they play. Delton Menace 09:07, June 11, 2010 (UTC)

I don't know much about the owner, other than that person seems to always be ahead of everyone else probably due to on-set reports and what not. And yes, very reliable, from my experience. He or she has always got casting right, and always knows confirmed spoilers. Hence, the website clearly says it's spoilers, which is, in short, what the majority of fans don't know yet. But as I said, it's always reliable, and I think once mention Rory's death in Cold Blood long before it happened, and had the cast down for that episode long before it aired. Delton Menace 09:22, June 11, 2010 (UTC)

Vandal

Thanks for letting me know. I've warned the user (again) as the pattern of the user's contributions don't suggest someone deliberately changing content as many of their additions are valid edits. So I just want to give them a final warning just in case. Thanks. --Tangerineduel 12:14, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

Hi Whore

Hi WHORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amy Pond did turn into The Master and The Eleventh Hour was set before The End of Time so you just deleted one very truthful edit's .to finish my mesege you are not just a whore you are a cross between a SHITER A FUCKER A PISSER A BITCH AND A WHORE.

Screwdrivers cross-sections

Hi, the cross-section pictures are from Peter McKinstry's website. But how do I ad that source? Evilyoda 18:33, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks - Evilyoda 18:39, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

Pre-spoilers

Yeah, sure thing. I get what you're saying now: spoilers are only for upcomming episode articles and series, and not the character pages. Fair enough. I will remove any known pre-spoilers I find on character articles from now on. Delton Menace 18:26, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

Thank You.

I would like to thank you for your support in my request to become an admin - so thank you! :) In the future if you ask to be an admin, which I hope you do, I will full back you :) Cheers again :) Mini-mitch 19:52, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

Please Shut Up

Stop trying to block me you fucking whore Darth Rishda

Weevil edit

Can you please tell me why you reverted my edit to the weevil page? The creature is set to appear in the episode, and is even on the template I added. I checked around, and it seems like the other pages are counting the Pandorica Opens/ the big bang as an appearance in series 5. So why was it removed? This is a really annoying problem on this wiki, people keep reverting edits and not specifying why. HellKaiserryo12 (TalkContribs) 22:37, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

Face Tendril

I have noticed that you moved the Face Tendril to page to Multi-Form when you shouldn't have. You don't move a page because you think it is the right name for it when the name of the species was already confirmed by the BBC Doctor Who website. Multi-Form was just a name it was refered to because it had that ability. -- Michael Downey 20:44, June 19, 2010 (UTC).
