Okay, thanks to RTD we now have two types of Cybermen- the original 'Mondasian' Cybermen and the new 'Pete's World' Cybermen. Well couldn't they have combined to form one mixed group of Cybermen, as the PW Cybermen have already shown themselves willing to make an alliance and the M Cybermen probably wouldn't mind a 'free upgrade'. It would explain how the Cybermen in the Pandorica Opens are so much more advanced (seperate body parts acting independently, having cyberships and the ability to teleport and time time travel) yet are still designed like PW Cybermen.
